About The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry

BRICS took shape in September 2006 and it originally comprised Brazil, Russia, India, and China (BRIC). It was renamed BRICS after South Africa was accepted as a full member in September 2010. The group has expanded into a 10-nation alliance, welcoming Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates as new members in 2024, followed by Indonesia in 2025.

The World Public Summit. BRICS CCI WE Annual Women’s Summit & Felicitations 2026

Held in New Delhi from 21–23 March 2026, the 6th Edition of the BRICS CCI WE Annual Summit & Felicitation 2026 emerged as a landmark global gathering, bringing together leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and changemakers from across BRICS+ nations. BRICS CCI and The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in New Delhi organized a Roundtable Discussion (RTD) on February 12, 2026, titled "Leveraging Local Currency Transaction Cooperation between India and Indonesia in Developing Cross-Border Payments: Potential and Challenges." The discussion brought together representatives from Bank Indonesia, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banking institutions, business actors, business associations, and academics from both countries.

n a decisive step to shape the future of urban development and infrastructure, the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI)- Chandigarh Chapter organized its flagship forum, “InfraCon 2025” at Chandigarh.
